Kid Bailey

Kid Bailey is an enduring phantom of the Mississippi Delta blues. He recorded exactly one session for Brunswick in Memphis in 1929, yielding 'Rowdy Blues' and 'Mississippi Bottom Blues.' His style is so similar to Charley Patton and Willie Brown that some researchers theorized Bailey was a pseudonym for one of them, though modern consensus holds he was an independent artist closely associated with the Dockery Plantation network who subsequently vanished.
