Palmer McAbee

Palmer McAbee was a white harmonica player from South Carolina who recorded for Victor in 1928. His virtuosic, chugging style blended mountain old-time music with African American blues rhythms. He is studied as a critical link in the cross-pollination of Appalachian folk and country blues harmonica techniques during the early recording era.
