Arthur Gunter

Arthur Gunter was a fixture of the postwar Nashville blues scene, famous for writing and recording the original 'Baby Let's Play House' for Excello in 1954. When Elvis Presley covered it a year later, it brought Gunter significant royalties, though he never produced a successful follow-up and retired from music in the 1960s.
