Show 61: Bob Dylan's Legacy

This show flips the Dylan chapter around and listens to other singers taking hold of his songs. It asks what happens when a songwriter already steeped in blues and folk gets returned to those same traditions through new voices and arrangements.

Host Narration

I'm your host. For today's 61st episode of the CC Blues Show, we will be exploring the legacy of Bob Dylan in honor of his appearance in Miami last weekend. Up first we have a Hendrix cover, and not the one I'm sure you're thinking of. It's "Like a Rollin' Stone," recorded from Monterey in 1967.
